GPF TA/NRA/TA Conversion Rules & Intervals – Kerala GPF 2011

🔰 GPF TA / NRA / TA Conversion as NRA — Conditions

A) Service Criteria

  • GPF TA: No service length criteria prescribed for sanction.
  • NRA or TA Conversion as NRA: Minimum 10 years of service, or within 10 years before the date of superannuation. [Rule 22(a) & 22(b)]

📌 Interval Between GPF TA / NRA / TA Conversion as NRA

Sl. Type of Conversion Interval / Condition Rule / Order
1 TA → NRA OR NRA → TA 4 months (same purpose). No restriction for different purpose. Rule 22(2)
2 TA → TA After repayment of 6 instalments. GO(P) No.95/2020/Fin dt:21-07-2020
3 NRA → NRA 3 months. Rule 20(1)
4 TA → NRA (Conversion) After recovery of 2 instalments. Rule 26(2)
5 TA (converted NRA) → TA 4 months (same purpose). No restriction for different purpose. Rule 22(2) & 22(3)
6 TA (converted NRA) → NRA 3 months. Rule 20(1) & 22(3)

📌 Foot Notes

  1. GPF TA during Suspension — Allowed with written consent for recovery from subsistence allowance. [Rule 17(2)]
  2. GPF NRA during Suspension — Allowed. [Note-5 below Rule 22(1)]
  3. GPF TA during Leave Without Allowance (LWA) — Not allowed. [Rule 17(1)(d)]
  4. GPF NRA during LWA — Allowed. [Rule 20(2) & 20(3)]
